Beyer’s Oil beard oil, handmade in Bavaria since 2015: 100% natural, based on organic jojoba oil, dermatologically tested and rated “Very Good”. Two scent profiles, multiple sizes and a 2 ml sample so you can try before you commit.

Which beard oil is right for you?

The choice mainly comes down to scent and how much you use regularly.

If you’re looking for a fresh, all-year option, Eisenkraut is the classic: slightly herbal, with a light citrus note, suitable for any beard type.

If you prefer something warmer and more woody, Cedarwood & Sandalwood is the better fit – especially during the colder months.

In terms of size: the 30 ml bottle lasts around three months with daily use. If you use beard oil regularly, the 100 ml XXL bottle or the 3×30 ml set offers better value. New to the range or unsure about the scent? Start with the 2 ml sample.

What makes a good beard oil

A good beard oil absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave a greasy feel and cares for both beard and the skin beneath at the same time. Which helps support healthy beard growth. The skin on your face is more sensitive than your scalp, which is why the quality of ingredients matters.

Our formula is based on organic jojoba oil, combined with essential oils for the scent. No silicones, no parabens, no aluminum, no microplastics.

We’ve been producing in Bavaria since 2015, by hand and in small batches. Eisenkraut is dermatologically tested with a “Very Good” rating and consistently receives excellent customer feedback.

Both oils meet natural cosmetics standards, are vegan and free from silicones, parabens and microplastics.

A quick note on jojoba oil: below around 7–8°C it can become cloudy or solid. This is completely natural and does not affect quality. Simply warm it between your hands and it will return to liquid form.

How to use beard oil

A few drops are enough, depending on beard length. For short beards, 2–3 drops are sufficient. Medium beards need around 4–5 drops, while full beards typically require 6–8.

Rub the oil between your hands and massage it into the skin beneath your beard. Then work it through the beard with your fingers or a brush for even distribution.

Apply after washing or showering, when the skin is slightly damp. Daily use is ideal.

Beard oil for itch and dry skin

If your beard itches or flakes, it’s usually a sign of dry skin. Regular use of beard oil restores moisture and often reduces irritation within a few days.

For longer beards (around 3 cm and above), beard oil and beard balm work well together: oil for the skin, balm for hold and smoother hair.

If you’re just getting started, a beard care set is the easiest way to build a complete routine.
