Our beard cream
At the moment, we offer one beard cream, and we designed it to work for a wide range of beards and skin types. It works just as well on short beards as it does on long ones and performs reliably on sensitive as well as normal facial skin.
For stubble and short beards, skincare is the main focus. The cream absorbs quickly and helps reduce itching and irritation from sharp beard hairs. Once the beard reaches around two to three centimeters in length, the cream also smooths and conditions the beard hair without adding hold or making the beard feel stiff.
Anyone already familiar with the fresh Eisenkraut fragrance and using the cream daily will probably end up choosing the 3-pack value set later on. My recommendation for beginners: start with the 120 ml tube. With normal use, it easily lasts several months.
Beard cream vs. beard oil
The most common question before buying is: cream or oil? Both nourish the beard, but they feel very different.
Our Beard Oil Eisenkraut has a liquid texture, penetrates deeply into the beard roots, and gives the beard a subtle natural shine. Beard cream has a creamy texture, dries matte, and feels more discreet for everyday use.
If you do not want shine or an oily feeling after application, beard cream is the better choice. It also performs especially well on very dry skin because Aloe Vera and Shea Butter retain moisture longer than pure oils.
If you enjoy both, they can easily be combined: beard oil in the morning for the skin underneath, followed later in the day by a small amount of cream for refreshing and smoothing the beard.
An honest comparison to beard balm: balm provides more hold for structured beard styles and contains beeswax, which means it is not vegan. Our beard cream is vegan and offers less hold, but noticeably more intensive care.
What makes a good beard cream
The formula is built around three key active ingredients.
Aloe Vera provides lightweight moisture without weighing the beard down. Panthenol strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier, while Ectoin helps protect skin cells against environmental stress caused by cold weather, dry indoor heating, or sun exposure.
Shea Butter gives the cream its smooth consistency, while the Eisenkraut fragrance comes from natural essential oils of lemon verbena, bergamot, and lavender.

How to use beard cream
Rub a pea-sized amount between your palms until the cream becomes soft and slightly warm. Then work it evenly into a damp or dry beard, from the roots to the tips, and massage it into the skin underneath for a few seconds.
Comb through with your fingers or a beard brush, and you are done.
For most beards, applying it once daily after washing is enough. On particularly cold or dry days, using it twice a day can also make sense.
